Our Curriculum

Here at Learn N Play we strive to make learning fun. Our goal is to create life long learners, we want every child that leave our facility to be ahead of their kindergarten classes and enjoy learning and creating new ideas and tasks.

MATH

Preschool math programs play a crucial role in developing this important early math knowledge. Recognize and write numerals. Count verbally, both forward and backward. Compare quantities. Understand basic geometry. Understand spatial relationships such as in-out, on-off, under-over, up-down and in front of-behind.

SCIENCE

Learn N Play Curriculum – Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. This science curriculum focuses on developing scientific inquiry skills such as observing, investigating and experimenting rather than the “right answer” or doing something “right way”. How and When You Can Use it in Your Classroom.

READING

With Reading the Alphabet, your child will: review and apply letters and their sounds. be introduced to beginning sight words at an appropriate pace. play with sounds in words. learn book and print awareness. practice fine motor skills. review basic math skills connected to the letter being studied

LIFE SKILLS

Teach collaboration as a value and skillset. ...

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Everyday students engage in minimum of 1.5 hours of physical education. This may include but not limited to dance time, daily exercise, and indoor or outdoor play.

NAP TIME !!!

Child care centers that operate on a full day schedule typically require an afternoon (or after lunch) nap time to make the rest of the day manageable. We require all students to lay down for quiet time from 1pm-3:15pm. Students can read a book or lay quietly during this time.
